My first paper crane

And probably my last for a while. At least until I’m 67 (by then I will have all the time in the world), I don’t want to know about the art of folding paper cranes.
If I ever reach that age, paper will be rare to find in the world and I will be sitting on a beautiful terrace on some kind of island of Indonesia (I will be rich by then) staring at the sea, wondering why I never tried this kind of craftsmanship before, meanwhile trying to fold up the impossible, a paper Yoda.
Al thought I picked the right piece of paper to start of my masterpiece (yesterdays sports section) my first paper crane looks rather unhappy swinging all alone on my chandelier.

The curiosity to fold such a paper cran (out of any sorts of paper) a rose from a beautiful clip made by David Altobelli for the number ‘Breathturn’ artist: Hammock from the album ‘Chasing After Shadows… Living with the death’:
