COOL SACHEEN LITTLEFEATHER

Some of you are aware that I love Native American clothing and jewelry.

Searching the web for inspiration I stumbled upon this beautiful lady: Sacheen Littlefeather.

In 1973 she presented a speech on behalf of actor Marlon Brando, for his performance in the Godfather, when he boycotted the 45th Academy Awards ceremony. This was his way of protesting against the treatment of Native Americans by the film industry. Another new heroine is added to my list.
